Socrates uses the SK to missile attack the [4] CO 1

It's nearly a 50-50 split, but I decided to continue on.

I agree that Philocles has to do as much damage as possible. Let's see what he can do:

Philocles's Activation
Routing, not shown: AS/VII LG: c,h. AS/XIV RC: a
In Pursuit: AS/XV Ex RC (w/ 4 hits)

The problem facing Philocles is his pitiful initiative rating of three. He's so far from the action that he has to use one order to move himself closer in. Another goes to knock off the isolated routed cohort in the east, and the third tries to use manpower efficiently by using a single LC to attack two routed units. Unfortunately the path of the LC takes it though a friendly HI that was one hit away from routing....but that unit had already moved this turn and so was useless anyway.

All the routed units fail their TQ checks; chalk up another 14 Rout Points against the Romans.

Current Rout Point totals:
Side Current Limit Pct
 Romans 163 185 88%
 Epirotes 143 120 119%

Philocles tries for Momentum and succeeds with a '0'.

To trump or not to trump, that is the question. Should the Romans trump, with who, and what should that leader do in case of success? In case of pass or failure, what should Philocles do in his Momentum Phase?

Mail me.
