Here the Romans have a strategic choice of circling the wagons in hopes that their existing RP lead will hold, or continuing the assault to cement a victory.
I agree with the slim majority with the attack strategy, if only because of the vulnerability of the phalanx. The PH are a lot of rout points, and killing them off before the Epirotes get a chance to rally them just digs Pyrrhus deeper into the hole.
