Move Laevinus to the Roman right so that he can rally 1

No real consensus of here, although almost everyone suggested some form of recovery. It's too bad that Laevinus can't be more help to the cavalry, but his command range (5) allows him to help only one unit without moving, and no one seemed to think that moving him to help out more units was worthwhile. (Several folks did mention recovering two RCs before moving out, but since that wasn't possible I counted that as recovering a single RC.)

Almost everyone stressed the need for Laevinus to be in a position to hand out Line Commands next turn, so I was surprised that only one person voted for using an order to push Plautius forward (maybe because folks didn't know or forgot that you could?). I think it's so important that I'm going to do it in spite of the lack of proponents for the maneuver.

Trying to act otherwise in accord with the wishes of the majority, Laevinus's move looks like this:

Laevinus's Activation
Routing, not shown: AS/VII LG h
In Pursuit: AS/XV Ex RC (w/ 4 hits)

Laevinus first removes the two hits on the only RC in range (allowing Falco to then use his three orders to get the remaining cavalry up to snuff). He then orders Plautius forward, advances forward himself, and uses his remaining two orders to knock hits off the front line.

The turn then ends. Roman Missile No cohorts in the center recover their javelins, routed units move towards their rout edge (shown above), with one (previously not shown) Epirote LC actually making it off the edge and into the Rout Point totals:

Side Current Limit Pct
 Romans 55 185 30%
 Epirotes 36 120 30%

It's now time to begin turn 3. Should Pyrrhus use his Elite Initiative? If yes, what should he do? If no, what should Plautius and Rebilus (the '2' initiative leaders) do?

Mail me.
