The voting:
Option | Votes | |
|---|---|---|
| Activate Falco, hit Epirote right wing | 1 | |
| Activate Falco, remove TQ hits | 1 | |
| Activate Magnus, move Principes line forward | 3 | |
| Activate Cassius, move Principes line forward | 2 |
The consensus seems to be get the Principes moving. There's not much to choose between Magnus and Cassius, so Magnus gets the nod.
There's nothing wrong with activating Falco, but since he's out of Laevinus's command range, he'd have to roll to get a Line Command. I'd go with removing TQ hits instead.
The people voting for moving the Principes had them going in all sorts of different directions: straight ahead, to the right but staying on the north bank of the river, and everything in between. The move I implemented is in line with the general tone of the voting, moving the principes forward but still protecting the flanks.
The cohorts on the right and left of the line split off to protect the flanks. The cohort on the far Roman right will now not be eligible for line commands, but the flank protection should be worth it.
Should Magnus try for Momentum? The voting was an even split, 3-3, with one person expressing no opinion. I lean slightly towards trying for Momentum, as there is an opportunity here to tear up the Epirote MI under Milon before he can get a chance to move.
Most of the time it's irrelevant, but Magnus succeeds with a dieroll of '2'.
So, the current question:
