On the last map, I forgot to mark the MI that attacked with the 2 hits that he suffered in melee. Fixed now.
Perozes calls up his cavalry reserve to protect his routed HC. The Saracens fire the last of their arrows at the enemy HI, to no effect.
Perozes then rallies two of the HC.
Belisarius's failed Momentum actually turned into a Command Failure -- I reported it to the Byzantines but not publicly for fog of war interest. (Yes, that's twice in one game for the Bel-man, a 1 in 10,000 chance or so.)
Since all the Persians have moved, the turn is over and the routed units head for the board edge (Persians) or Dara gate (Byzantines).
End of Turn 7 Rout Point totals:
| Side | Current | Limit | Pct |
|---|---|---|---|
| Persians | 37 | 109 | 34% |
| Byzantines | 23 | 102 | 23% |
On to Turn 8, and Belisarius's EIO.
