EIO

Turn 1: Belisarius's EIO Activation

This scenario begins with a Champion Challege, Andreas vs the Persian Pair. Andreas dispatches his opponents in three rounds, and so the Byzantine player gets the initial activation. Due to scenario restrictions, his only choice is Belsarius -- so in essence we end up with a normal game turn with the usual EIO.

Belisarius decides to send his reserves out to the flanks.

Another map change to note is the HI appearing in the Byzantine front line. Bouzes and A.John decided to dismount some of their cataphracts.

Pharas is secretly deployed somewhere within five hexes of the space marked with a question mark on the map.

It struck me as I was resolving this move that folks might still enjoy voting, so send in your suggestions if you so wish and I'll tabulate them as I resolve the moves. The results won't be binding on the commanders, of course, but you can still get bragging rights!

Ordinarily the 3s (Sunicas, Simmias, and Pharas) would move now, but a scenario special rule says that Belisarius is the only Byzantine leader that activates on turn 1. So Pitames is up!

Mail me.
