Main Street

From a Fisher Price Magazine Ad
This set consists of a main row of store fronts, a Post Office, a Sundae Shop, A Firehouse, a Market, and a Bank with a Drive Thru teller, on the end of the piece. An upper level piece has facades for a barber and a pet shop. Running along the front and above the shop is a street, and the piece came with two additional blue street pieces, one straight and curved. Either one can be attached to the back or side of the piece, but attaching the curved piece to the side allows cars to zip from the top level to the bottom. There is a knob to turn to ring the fire alarm, and a side button moves the teller's "drawer" out, and changes her display from "$5.00" to "Thank You". The piece came with several accessories such as a light, a phone, and a mailbox, all pictured here, that could be positioned in various places along the lower road on raised squares.
