The people are one of the main features of this set. This set comes with an orange schoolteacher with painted on glasses, a little orange girl with glasses, a black girl with a little bun in her hair, and the much sought after ASIAN BOY! His skin is slightly darker than the "standard" little poeple color, and his eyes are drawn like half-circles, instead of the usual full circle. (One other child included). The school iteslf has four built-in school desks, and a built in teacher desk.

Next to the teacher desk is a trapdoor that leads to the outside playground(which slides under the school for storage). On the back roof is a "lunch line" similar to the platform in the Sesame Street clubhouse, which advances the kids through the line, then dumps them down a slide into the playground. The playground itself has the slide, a see-saw, a "spin machine" that would make you very dizzy, and possibly a jump rope machine as well. In the front of the school is a crosswalk, where a switch turns a "walk, don't walk" sign. Very busy set, with a lot of detail.
