This set is much smaller than I thought it was when I had only seen pictures of it. The set is really no longer or wider than, say, a Circus Train Caboose. Although missing in my piece, the set did come with a big yellow plastic key attached to the end of the pull rope, that could fit into the "keyhole" on the top of the roof. The front of the toy is an open door with a "Welcome" mat litho. The rear of the toy has a lithoed on face, with plastic eyes that move as you pull the toy along. A bell also rings as you move the set along. The set came with 4 figures, a "standard" girl to be Goldilocks, a red bear with a square base to be the "Poppa" bear, a blue bear with a round base and a collar to be the "Momma" bear(not pictured), and a yellow shorter bear with a triangle base to be the "Baby" bear. The little girl is all wood, the bears have wood bodies and plastic heads.
The key side of the roof opens up to reveal the interior. Inside the house, and pictured
on the right,is a litho with some room decor and a picture of a door leading to a bedroom beyond. There is also a built in table with three place settings, yellow, blue, and red. Right under each of these settings is a corresponding mark for each bear, a yellow triangle, blue circle, or red square.
The other side of the roof has three holes, one for each bear, all marked and shaped accordingly, that is, a red square hole that says "Papa", a yellow triangle hole that says "Baby", and a round blue hole that says "Momma". Someone could also
go in through the chimney if they wanted to, since it goes staight down into the main room.
There are an awful lot of things going on in this one tiny toy. Like the Dump Truckers, this set combines great fun with learning shapes and colors.
