Dragon Mola
The mystical and spiritual worlds are often
the subject of molas. This dragon is intriguing as it is slayed
it spews forth a neon fabric fire. In the Kuna spiritual world
the story goes that the dragon swallows the sun on occasion, thus
they have an explanation for a solar eclipse. This mola is a
indigenous or traditional mola and would be used as either the
decorative front or back of a Kuna woman's blouse.
