Bird Mola Wall Hanging

This hanging is also made from tourist molas, meaning the molas are too small in size to be used traditionally on a Kuna woman’s blouse. This time the theme is birds and the idea was to make a small wall hanging which would go in a kitchen/eating area. This was our sixth mola wall hanging and we were finally ready to venture away from black sashing and found this yellow with a small black design that seemed to suit the look. Tabs were added to the top for hanging. Minus the tabs this piece measures 10 inches wide by 24 inches long.
