Requirements
kpad
kpad runs under Linux and possibly other unix flavors.
It was created with Qt 3.1.1 and KDE 3.1.
Build requires Qt and KDE developement packages as well as
other basic Linux developement files.
Please let my know if the program won't compile on your system
with future versions of Qt/KDE 3.
JEditPad1.4
JEditPad runs on the Java2 platform.
It was created with Java 1.4 and tested with Java 1.3.
It is cross platform although under Linux different
window managers may cause different behaviours.
(you have to drag the corners of the dialog boxes to open them)
Multinational email functionality requires
JavaMail, and JavaBeanActivationFrameWork,
Two standard Java Extensions availabe free from Sun Microsystems.
FreeMusicPlayer
FreeMusicPlayer runs on the Java 2 platform but uses Windows 2000/xp specific native code.
Therefore it is windows 2000/xp only and requires Java 1.3 or 1.4.
It may work fine on future versions of Java, please let me know.
