Rear Section
I was happily surprised at what I didn't find when I removed the
undercoating... Rust. The only area that was in need of serious
attention was the fender to body joint. The seam was sealed with
undercoating  from the bottom, so much for water draining out.
Both sides got new Dog Legs.  The post had only surface rust.
Looks a little better than it did
Now that the rear exterior is done its on to the interior.
What a difference some sandblasting and a little self etching
primer make. I have seen the damage that sandblasting can
do in the form of distorting sheet metal. I avoided this by using
paint remover first then sandblasting at a relatively low pressure.
It takes a while but it does work. If you use paint remover be
sure that it contains NO ACID or you will end up promoting
rust if you fail to completely neutralize or remove it.
