Finishing
Once all the parts were assembled it was time to
make it pretty. The leading edge of the hood was
built up with a layer of urethane foam board. I used
spray in expanding urethane foam around light buckets.
After the foam was shaped it got two layers of
woven cloth and resin.
Then sanded and glazed with light weight body filler.
After a lot, and I do me a LOT of sanding it
got two coats of urethane primer. Which will be
followed by a LOT more sanding before it gets sealed
and painted.
