A little bigraphical information about me here. I was born on February 15th, 1964 in the American Hospital in Paris, France. I grew up mostly in Fairfax County after 1968, with the exception of 3 years spent in Germany (1973-76), attending Chantilly High School and graduating from there in 1982.
I applied to, and was accepted into VMI in the Fall of 1982, and through some difficultly finally received a degree in History in May of 1988. I also received a commission in the U.S. Army Field Artillery as a Second Lieutenant. I only served for 3 years on 'Active Duty', but that time period was one of the most active in Army History.
In the midst of High School and while I was attending VMI I was involved in reenacting both the American Revolution and the Civil War. After I got out of the Army I got back into it too. Reenacting has always been something that I have enjoyed, both for the great people I have met and for the interesting places it has taken me. And of course, the visual nature of it, the smell of smoke, and the fun of it has a certain attraction too!
Enjoy the photos and words that I have here, and if you have any questions or comments, I'll gladly accept your e-mails (see the link at the bottom of the page.)
