The Crouch Family Tree on the Web includes an upward genealogy of the ancestry
of Mary Sarah Nance who married Jesse
Crouch of Boone's Creek, Tennessee. According to genealogist Pete Nance,
author of the Nance Register, the name of this Cornish family comes
from the Nans valley in Normandy. The family is prominent in the Richmond
area. Vice-President John Nance Garner was our third or fourth cousin. More
