Crouch Sr. and Sarah Barbary built a log house on the NW side of Indian
Ridge between Johnson City and Boone's Creek, Tennessee. Joined the Christian
Church.

Wife: John is also said to have married Mary Webb, Elizabeth Jenkins
and Christina McInturff. Some have advanced theories that he married Elizabeth
Bradberry or Susanna Williams, daughter of Capt. Charles Williams, but we
think those possibilities have been eliminated.
