I recently read that there was proposal to bring no-fault divorce to Britain.
I'll leave aside the question of where the state gets the authority to set
aside Christian marriages, and just ask "Has anyone heard of a country called
America?" You see, we've been a sort of laboratory for easy divorce and the results are not good.
Is it that the English people like our country music so much that they want
their own? It'd be wiser just to buy the American discs.
More seriously, people in other countries don't realize that once divorce
reaches a certain level, people don't just assume they'll stay married. Then
things that were tolerable with your life's mate become intolerable, with someone who'll be gone in two years.
