My grandfather was Robert
Orville Crouch born 17 August 1895 in McKinney, Collin Co. TX. He was the
son of H.H. Crouch born 2 January 1859 in TN and S.J. (Mnu) Crouch born 29
March 1874 in Greenville, Hunt Co. TX. Robert Orville had these brothers:
1. C.H. Crouch -- Pastor of Emmanuel Baptist Church in Dallas, TX in 1936
2. J.J. Crouch -- living in Albuquerque, NM in 1936
3. H. H. Crouch -- living in Atlanta, GA in 1936
Robert Orville Crouch died 13 Feb. 1936 and is buried in the Pecan Grove
Cemetery in McKinney, Collin Co. TX. The lot he is buried in belonged to
Hiter Crouch whom I believe is his father H.H. Crouch who died 24 August
1927 in Dallas, TX.
Any help will be very appreciated,
Linda

Robert Orville Crouch married to Annie Osborn. We went to the Pecan Grove Cemetery in McKinney, Collin County, Texas looking for Robert Orville and Annie's graves. They were in a lot owned by Hiter Crouch, we don't know if he was Robert Orville's father, grandfather or how they are connected. In the cemetery lot were the following:
1. J.P. Crouch died 2 Sep 1897 son of H.H. and S.J. Crouch. He was 4 months and 21 days old making him born 12 Apr 1897.
2. Hiter Hobert Crouch died 19 Aug 1899 son of H.H. and S.J. Crouch. He was 8 months and 18 days old making him born 1 Jan 1899.
3. Robert O. Crouch on his stone it had Texas-Mech. 64th regt. C.A.C. died 13 Feb 1936. What does Texas-Mech. 64th regt. C.A.C. stand for?
4. Annie Crouch Bell 1 Jan 1897-29Oct 1978 (she had remarried after Robert's death)
5. Eugene Couch died 8 Jan 1940 (we believe this is Robert and Annie's son)
BUT the amazing thing was that H.H and S.J. Crouch were not there!
