Counselors, Coaches, and Child Specialists
These licensed mental health professionals
all have been trained in Collaborative Divorce and admitted to the
Collaborative Professionals of Northern Virginia. In collaborative cases,
they do not provide therapy; instead, they analyze the parties' current
communication patterns, and work with them so that they can communicate
successfully to resolve their differences. This role is called “Collaborative
Coaching”. They also can act as a neutral expert to evaluate a child's needs
— a “Child Specialist”.
