This page is about sending me information that fits into genealogies
that are already on this web site. You should also e-mail me if
you have a correction to one of my web pages, or if you would
like yourself or your family removed from the web site.
I'm afraid it could be months or years before I have time to add
your information to the site. I have a hard enough time keeping
up with work e-mail and am not allowing myself to spend hardly
any time on genealogy right now.
You can either send me information or tell me of a genealogical
or personal web page I should link to. Also, if you have family
tree web pages and you link people in them to my pages, I would
appreciate hearing about it so I can link back.
To send me information, preferably by e-mail, the ideal thing
to do is to divide the information into individual units, each
about a couple, usually. Units should list:
1. Each spouse's name, dates, and parents; 2. Children, their
dates, and who they marry. Sample
page. For exclusively upward or downward genealogy, though,
you can leave out what you don't think is relevant. Also, it helps
if you tell me the URLs or names of my sub-pages which
the new information will link to. Unless you give me that information,
I often will have no idea where your information fits in.
Please give dates and places where possible, because
so many of us have the same names.
