"The United Nations publish divorce rates in one of their annual statistical
publications, the Demographic Yearbook. The latest edition on our shelves,
and I think the most recently published, is the 1993 Yearbook which came
out in 1995. The divorce figures in it are for 1992, so not very
recent, I'm afraid! The divorce rates you asked for, expressed as rates per
1,000 population, are:
Japan 1.44
Australia 2.61
New Zealand 2.65
