In the name of God Amen. I, Samuel Whetley being sick of body but of perfect memory and judgement preace to almightly God first recommending my soule to God that gave it do make this my last will and testament in manner following after paying all my just debts and paying all my funeral charges.

Imprimis - I give and bequeath all my lands unto all my lawfully begotten children to be equally divided between them the maner plantation to be my well beloved wife during her nateral life and my eldest son to have his part chise when divided.

I give and bequeath all my personall estate to be equally divided between my well beloved wife and all my well beloved children lawfully begotten and my beloved son in law William Archdecon. I constitute and apoint Samuel Whetly and Ann Kennedy Excutors of this my last will and testament and revoking all former wills or testements what soever made by me before the declar of this. I do pronoune and declare this to be my last will and testement and fixed my seale signes with my hand this 21 day of January 1739/40.
