In the name of God amen: I Isaac Livermon of the County of Tyrrell and State of No Carolina being of sound & perfect mind and memory (blessed be God) do the 13th day of June in the year of Our Lord 1821 make & publish this my last will and testament in manner following that is to say first my desire is that all my just debts shall be punctually paid out of my estate by my executors hereafter mentioned.
Secondly - My desire is that after my just debts is paid out of my estate (which is to be disposed of as follows) that is to say my juniper swamp to be sold on a credit of six and twelve months also all my personal estate -(negroes excepted) to be sold on credit of six months and my plantation on which I live to be rented out yearly & my negroes to be hired out yearly for the bennefit of my estate.
Thirdly - My desire is that my brother Demsey Livermon whome I shall appoint executor to this my will & testament take the guardionship of my little son Dempsey Livermon & put him to school at the age of five years old & continue him until he is ten years old, Then I wish him my executor to take my son Dempsey & carry him to Baltimore or Anapelus & bind him to some good trade some Cabinet joiner or blacksmith then when he shall arrive at the age of twenty one years old my desire is that my son shall receive into his possesion my land that is my plantation and what ever lands may belong to my estate (the juniper swamp excepted) and all my negroes together with all the rest of my estate or the bennefits arising from the sole rent or hire of the same I bequeath unto him Dempsey Livermon my son -
And I hereby make ordain and appoint my well beloved brother Dempsey Livermon executor to this my last will & Testament In witness whereof I have hereto set my hand and seal day & date above written.

This will was exhibited into open & duly proved by the oath of John Bryant in due form of law who also swore that he saw Selby Patrick the other subscribing witness sign the same as concurring evidence thereto, same time appeared Dempsey Livermon & quallified as executor in due form & the said will was ordered to be recorded.
