Know all men by thes presents: That I James Carron of the County of Tyrrel on Croatan being very sick and weak but of perfict mind and memory do ordain and appoint this to be my last Will and Testament in manner and form following first I give and bequeath my soul into the hands of Almighty God who gave it me and my body to be decently interred at the duretion of my Executors and after my just and lawfull debts be paid I give my Estate in manner and form following.
Item - I give and bequeath to my son George Carron the plantation whereon I now do live and a negro boy named Cansor likewise on cow and calf.
Item - I give and bequeath to my daughter Elizabeth Carron four hear of cattle ---
Item - I give and bequeath unto my daughter Ann Carron three head of cattle ---
Item - I give and bequeath unto my daughter Merriam Carron three head of cattle.
Item - I give and bequeath to my daughter Sarah Carron three head of cattle.
Item - I give and bequeath unto my beloved wife Patience Carron her dwelling on my forementioned Estate during her widdowhood and likewise all the remander part of my Estate as cattle hogs one horse and all my houshold stuff cattle hogs and horse I give to her at her owne disposall as she thinks proper. In witness hereof I leave my beloved wife Patience Carron & my father George Carron as my whole and sole Executors to this my last Will and Testament whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this twenty first day of May in the year of our Lord God one thousand seven and sixty three.

If in case my sone George Carron sould not survive to years eighteen then my said Estate as also the negro boy named Cansor to be equally divided between my four daughters aforementioned.
