CAPITALISM

Let's vote on it!

A third party?

We have had a thousand "third parties."

Each has offered its wares, been rejected and disappeared.

We have had socialist parties, communist parties, prohibitionist parties, labor parties, progressive parties, women's parties, new parties, people's parties, reform parties, green parties, states' rights parties ...

They all placed their ideas before the voters and the voters said NO THANKS.

The American people have had a chance to embrace every ideology under the sun but one:

Capitalism

has never been offered to the electorate.

Now, at last, the Capitalist Party has arrived in the marketplace of ideas.

War

Why is war so expensive?

Because the current government-operated military establishment violates the basic principle of capitalist warfare, which is, after all, profit. Armies originated in the sacking of cities and other market-driven activities

The Capitalist Party will privatize the armed forces and free them to participate in the emerging global economy.

Taxes

At last the era of progressive taxation has ended. But the flat tax is only a half-way measure.

The Capitalist Party will institute a negative income tax for the highest income brackets. Capitalists will not only be freed from the burden of taxation: they will receive matching funds from the Treasury.

The Capitalist Party will put more money in the hands of investors, and that will produce more jobs in an expanding and competive economy.

Health

As the Texan statesman and philosopher John Tower observed,

"Life is a commodity like any other."

Insurance companies have made great strides toward the realization of this inspiring capitalist vision.

The Capitalist Party will fulfill the promise of our insurance system by establishing a commodity market in which lives and body parts will be freely traded.

Crime and Punishment

The war on drugs has given us a marvelous new Drug Capitalism and vastly expanded our prison population, much as Rome's conquests expanded her slave population.

The War on Drugs addresses our housing problem, provides workers at competitive wages, and strengthens authority.

At the present rate of growth, however, it will take sixty or seventy years to imprison everybody.

The Capitalist Party will implement progressive policies to achieve immediate universal imprisonment from cradle to grave.

What if we lose?

Communism, like Capitalism, ruled without a mandate for a long time.

At length, the people of Russia and environs were allowed to choose.

The Communists lost, and they graciously conceded and bowed out.

If Capitalism were likewise stripped of legitimacy, our Capitalists would surely follow that example.

But we are confident that the American people, now that the issue is before them, will give Capitalism a mandate.

If you share this vision, join the Capitalist National Committee.
