Doing this project phase the architect and project manager will work closely with the Facilities Advisory Committee members developing a conceptual design for the facilitity.  The concept design includes consideration of the site and building design from a functional and operational standpoint.  The architect usually develops one or more  initial conceptual design proposals from which discussion begin.  Successive revisions are made to the initial plans until general concensus agreement is reached among the Committee members.  The final results of the Committee's work is documented in a Preliminary Plans Brochure, that is formally presented to the Board of Education for review, discussion and approval prior to advancing the project to its next planning phase.
