At The World Citizen, we recognize and accept the Golden Rule, "Treat Others As You Would Like To Be Treated," as the clearest expression of God's moral law for all mankind.

We also understand that the Golden Rule leads directly to Democracy and equality under the law, because the Golden Rule directs us to give the same power to others as we would like to have for ourselves, namely, the power to make decisions in matters affecting our lives. How much power? The same as we have ourselves, and this leads immediately to the idea of "one man, one vote," with all votes being of equal weight. So, Democracy is the natural result of applying the Golden Rule to the question: "What kind of government should we have?" Similarly, the Golden Rule leads directly to the idea of equality of all people under the law.

THE GOLDEN RULE - "Treat Others As You Would Like To Be Treated."

"Treat others as you would like to treated," or any of its many translations and paraphrases, is a concept that people of all cultures and all beliefs can agree upon as a universal standard for human behavior. We call upon all political and religious leaders throughout the world to accept and support the Golden Rule.

The Committee For The Golden Rule attempts to promote the widest possible adoption and use of The Golden Rule into human life, worldwide.

TERRORISM is "the systematic use of violence to create a general climate of fear in a population and thereby to bring about a particular political objective." Source: Britannica.com Terrorism is the worst possible crime against any civilized society, impossible to justify by any reasonable standard of morality. THE HOMELAND DEFENDER is dedicated to the world-wide defense against terrorism. Since terrorism works directly against the happiness and well-being of all people, we therefore vigorously oppose all terrorism. Ultimately, we want to eliminate terrorism completely, as we say in our slogan, "All Terrorism Must Be Eliminated."
