This is our protection against unjust and erroneous prosecutions. These rights are enjoyed by all of our people, Presidents as well as common criminals. President Clinton has been accused of committing crimes, and his enemies are trying to remove him from office because of these alleged crimes. Just as "no one is above the law," so also must no one be denied the full protection of the law. Like all other people, President Clinton must be presumed innocent until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt.
