That Today You Might Get Closer To The Lord

it to you.  In this way, the prayer is reactivated, and it is the same
as if I were actually praying for you at that moment.
(Just like television prayers are reactivated when you watch 
them, although the videotape may have been shot years before.)





               "That Today You Might Get Closer To The Lord"

                 No matter who you are or how you live,
                 You always can get closer to the Lord.
                 His Spirit can be stronger in your heart,
                 You may become more greatly filled with Him.

                       *          *          *

                 And so I pray that you today will try
                 To act and speak and think in such a way
                 That He will want to love you even more,
                 And share His presence even more with you.
                 And as you try, I pray He will respond
                 By growing even stronger in your heart.
                 In Jesus'name I pray for you, Amen.
