HOW TO CONTACT A DEAFINTL LISTOWNER

You may contact the listowners for help if you have trouble subscribing to, unsubscribing from, or posting to deafintl. Also please contact us if you have any questions or comments about the list or any of its policies and posting guidelines. If you would like to post something but you aren't sure if it would be appropriate for deafintl, feel free to contact a listowner to ask. We also welcome feedback, suggestions, and ideas about or for deafintl and about us as listowners.

It is usually best to send e-mail to:
owner-deafintl@waste.org
All e-mail to owner-deafintl@waste.org is automatically forwarded to all three listowners. That way you can be sure that one of us will see and respond to your e-mail message no matter who is on duty. If we don't reply to you in a day or two, then please do feel free to send us a follow up message. We try to respond promptly, but sometimes we get tired or busy and need a little reminding!

If you prefer, you may also send e-mail to individual listowners. Andrea Shettle is the person who established deafintl; she is also the only listowner who knows some Spanish:

Xashettle@patriot.net (Do not include the X. It is NOT part of my email address.)

If you need help reading deafintl archives via ftp or e-mail, contact Kara Harkins at:

kharkin@patriot.net

If you want to send e-mail in French, contact Jen at:

owner-deafintl@waste.org

Usually it is best to use English when contacting a listowner. All three of us are fluent in English. However, you may also send e-mail en español a Andrea Shettle; Andrea puede leer español y tambien puede escribirlo un poco, si Ud. prefiere.

You may also send e-mail in French to Jen (owner-deafintl); Jen can read and write in French.

You may also try to send e-mail in other languages. However, you should be aware that our email software is not able to handle anything other than the roman alphabet. In other words, we wouldn't be able to see Chinese, Russian, Greek, or other scripts. Also, it would probably take us a long time to find someone who is able to translate your message into English and help us reply in your language.
