Breaking News ==========================================================

The Comissioner of Public Safety has announced that a murder most foul has been committed. Yesterday, the body of Msr Louis-Yves Desacroix, a Lt Colonel in the Grand Duke Max Dragoons, was found in the foyer of his abode. From the appearance of the room, it appears that some ruffians must have broken into Msr Desacroix's abode in an attempt to rob him. The ensuing fight was apparently hampered by some severe wounds earned by the LtColonel in a duel earlier in the month. In the end, the ruffians apparently overwhelmed Msr. Desacroix. Several letters requesting a duelwere found at Msr. Desacroix's feet.

Currently, the CoPS reports no leads. Any gentlemen with information are requested to contact the Commission immediately.

Sir,

I am writing to you firstly to congratulate you on your valiant defence of the supply wagons in the recent summer conflict. Without your bravery and diligence to duty we would all have been sleeping in cow sheds or on the bare earth. However, the very fact that Charger, Stamper and Dark Destiny are so afflicted with blindness that they can no longer do much more that eat grass, when combined with the fact that there a few horses beyond a cart horse who can carry your weight seems to point towards retirement. No one is doubting your military ability, just your ability to be in the military any longer.

I hope that you will consider my words carefully, and I wish you all the very best should you decide to hang up your sabre and your spurs.
