The Golden Rule

    God's Universal Standard For Human Behavior

              "TREAT OTHERS AS YOU WOULD LIKE TO BE TREATED."

   This is based on the original words of Jesus, as recorded in the
   Bible.

       "Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men
        should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is
        the law and the prophets." (Matthew 7:12 KJV)



   It is also found in the other major religions and philosophies.

   The Golden Rule, properly applied, is suitable for all people, in all
   situations whatsoever. The more you study the Golden Rule, the more
   profound it becomes to you. Those who may think it is "too simplistic"
   simply do not understand it.

   Even if you don't believe in God, you should follow the Golden Rule
   because it will help you get along better in the world.

   To apply the Golden Rule, ask yourself "How would you like to be
   treated in similar circumstances?" Then treat the other person that
   way. Also consider the impact of your actions on all other people, not
   only those immediately before you.


                    A Golden Rule Poem


         Treat others as you would like them to treat you;
           Love others as you love yourself;
         Consider the others in all that you do,
           And God will reward you Himself.
