This website was reconceived as a portal for all of the information about me that already exists out there on the Interwebs, and can be readily found on Google and other search engines, but is here pulled together for the convenience of new visitors and really, really devout time-on-their-hands visitors alike. As of this writing, the site is under reconstruction; please pardon our dust, raw pine boards, table saws, shouting men with their pants down around mid-arse level, random plastic sheeting taped up around the "room," extension cords lying all over the "floor," and other nonsense typically associated with renovation. I hope to have it done with quickly. Meanwhile:
Gwyn McVay is the author of two chapbooks of poems, Brother Ikon (Inkstone Press) and This Natural History (Pecan Grove Press); her first full-length collection of poems, Ordinary Beans, is forthcoming from Pecan Grove Press in 2007. Her poetry has been anthologized several times and has appeared in numerous periodicals as varied as Prairie Schooner, Ploughshares, Boulevard, Exquisite Corpse, New American Writing, Rain Taxi, Ribot, and others. She teaches English and sociology at Millersville University, where she appeared in The Vagina Monologues by Eve Ensler, and the Pennsylvania College of Art & Design; she and her husband, who are jointly owned by two cats, are never far from Intercourse, which is about as close to Paradise as it gets. (Hey, man, the Amish named these towns.) |
